Bryant Lake Park, Eden Prairie, MN

Writer: Tracy RuddTracy Rudd

Situated in a beautiful community park, Bryant Lake Park is the #2 ranked course in the state behind Blue Ribbon Pines, and currently rated #34 in the world on UDisc. The scenery is lovely, with a water feature that comes into play on holes 17 and 18. The course maintenance is impeccable—fairways are well-maintained, tee pads are in good condition, and trees were well-trimmed. Plentiful bag hooks on each tee pad sign/marker were a nice touch.

There are plenty of layout options. I met up with a coworker local to the Minneapolis area and we played long tees to yellow baskets. I don’t believe every hole had a blue and yellow basket but there were always long and short pads, giving you plenty of options for fun lines.

Most holes are wooded, some with wider fairways. Hole 8 was really fun, with a downhill tunnel shot. Hole 17 seems to be the signature hole, with a long, downhill shot over trees. Just be careful of the water!

Definitely a must-play while in the Minneapolis area and well worth the $7.00 fee to play. Until next time…get out and throw!
