Queen Elizabeth Park, Vancouver, BC

Looking for a disc golf course to play while in Vancouver? Look no further than Queen Elizabeth Park! It’s a centrally located course with 9 basket, but each has a long and short tee so it’s easy to get in a full 18. Long and short give a great variety of shots and looks at the basket, also.

The course has fun use of elevation and a small water feature for added interest on hole 9/18. It’s in a large, multi-use park but the disc golf area is rather well-secluded. I was super excited to see a school group making use of the course for a school project—I’d love to see more exposure to disc golf in schools!

Overall it’s a well-maintained course and easy to get to. Easily my favorite aspect was the good use of elevation. For a bonus, walk up to the observatory area for some awesome views of the city after your round. Until next time…get out and throw!
